Visting With my Kiva Person

Day 1: Right when I got off the plane on to the hot, tropical Dominican Republic ground, it felt like a sauna all the time! I was walking out of the gate when I saw my Kiva group; they welcomed me as we got into the pre paid cab. The taxis are like those small buses but a little bigger. The bus ride was long, hot, and most of all boring. After the longest, most painful bus ride ever they treated me by taking me to one of the best local restaurants. For appetizers we had Chips, Guacamole and salsa, followed by the main course which I had Chorizo with rice, beans, cheeze, potato, and egg wrapped in a tortilla, with a side order of taquitos and sour cream. After that I was ready for a good night sleep, so they took me back to the house with a full stomach. They showed me where to go to bed; I ran and jumped in bed and in a second I fell asleep.

Day 2: I woke up and we all ate eggs with sourdough bread. The best part was that they knew I loved Tapatio so they bought some bottles. After we ate that awesome breakfast we went out to stroll the sights and the town. After about an hour I got hungry again so we went to this awesome Mexican restaurant where I ordered some nachos. Yes I ordered nachos! Your not, not, going to order nachos at a Mexican restaurant. The Mexican restaurant was called Three Mexicans, the best name ever. With the nachos I got cheese, with mouth watering guacamole, sprinkled steak, sour cream that tasted like heaven, and beans that look like leavings of a rabbit, but tasted like Sarah Palin doing a disco dance to hardcore dubstep. In my opinion I think that is pretty awesome. They had this Pink lemonade that wasn't pink, more like blue and smelled like expired medicine that has been sitting in the cabinet for 3 years; every time you took a sip, it was like Chuck Liddel punched you in the face. (A.K.A. Chuck "The Ice Man" Liddel is a Legendary UFC fighter, currently retired.) The flavor hurt my cheeks but it was awesome and made me feel like I had gotten attacked by a bear. After that I was still tired; the plane ride was rough so I went back and I hit the hay.

P.S. If you see him don't try to fight him, as you can see he it the best, and my hero.

Day 3: On this day I had to leave. I got up, went to the cab they ordered for me. The Kiva group was still sleeping and I didn't want to wake them up, so I left them a note thanking them for the hospitality and reminding them to come visit me sometime. I ran out the door and asked the cab driver to go to the airport. After the cab ride I entered the airport and saw my gate, I ran into the plane and took a seat, put some music on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWsavFUvEIw, then went to sleep as I heard the roar of the plane engine over my music.
