The hero's jerouney

I am Gorege Ice Remize the 2nd. How I got the name ice, I have no idea. I was a master sergeant in the U.S. Army. One day I went out to potrol. there was a sound like firecrackers. The talbains AK-47 and AK-74u sound like fire carkers and they spray everywhere and taliban have no experience in the feild. But US army has staregy and the best guns. There was a gun fire on the eastern. So we run for cover. I am sprinting and well I am getting shot at. So I run for cover. When I pops for covering fire for my squad, that is trying to get over to the position I am in. I get shot in the chest. Knocked out cold.

I woke up the a US Army ER. I looked around and the nurse said "I am gald your alive." I said "how are the rest." she said "Two dead the rest of your squad is minor to survire wounds." I look over to the right and see my partner. In the army you are always to have somebody to watch your back. then I asked what happend. My partner said that when they ambuched us that he got shot in the leg and he said one preson thought you were gone forever and they gave a rpg at us but nobody got hurt that I know of. So we called in air support. Then a couple of black hawks came with B50 cal turrets on the sides. So some guys help in the ambuched and took us back to the ER and after we left B52 came and wiped the hostles. I relize that I couldn't feel my left arm and my left leg I was thinking that they were alseep from not moving. So I lifted my hand and it was gone there was a fake hand. I Scremed "HOLY CARP!" Then I looked at my leg and I yelled agian "HOLY CRAP!" my partner was drinking tea and he spited that tea right out and said "OH MY GOD. That must be from the rocket!"

The next day they gave me cruchs and I could walk around and get the new felling of lack of mobilty. So the first couple of times I fell but after awahile I got use to it feelt like one foot was on a tamping and one was the soild ground. It was easy to eat . After a couple of days. I was able to walk normally after years of Recovery. After a couple of years of the survive of the army. I got married and I have two wonderful daughters that are twins. I still tell this story to toddlers and to tell them it is okay to be different.
