my visit with panther bior

Panther and I went to Panther's hometown; it smelled like it somebody had too many beans. The ground was like walking on a porcupine back. We were walking and talking, he was saying what he remembered of everybody. He was saying how sad he was that his family wasn't here. He was just about to say something then somebody said, “Hello Panther.” Panther was in shock and he ran to this girl. They hugged and kissed each other. He came over to me and said, "This is my beautiful wife Nyantiec" I said, "Oh my god, you guys look good with each other."

The next day we woke up and I was wondering when breakfast was, I was so hungry. Right when I was going to say something, they brought out a plate. I was so surprised how good the food was; it was like the best cafeteria food ever! I had beans and rice I was astounded. After we were all feed we went to the Nile River and we were so excited. When we got there I jumped in the water, the water was so cold. When I came up I heard the sounds of children playing in the water, it was so cool.

That afternoon Panther, his wife, myself and other people all sat by the fire and we just talked, talked, talked. That feeling made me feel like I was at a Santa Barbara Middle School campfire. I was so happy feeling like I was at home. The people there were so nice, every person came up to me and introduced himself or herself. I told them I was Kanaan. Everybody had a smile no one was sad it was so cool.

Right before I left I was so sad, the people were so nice. On my way out Panther started running up to me and me gave me a bracelet that said I heart Sudan. I gave him a big hug and thanked Panther. He is a good friend and I am planning to go back there next year.
